Welcome to the Wasteland!
The end of the world is just the beginning in the Fallout Pro Pinball Machine by Stern Pinball, bringing the legendary world of Fallout to life in an action-packed pinball adventure inspired by both the hit television series and iconic Bethesda video games.
Developed in collaboration with Bethesda Game Studios and Kilter Films, Fallout combines characters, environments, music, video and unmistakable Fallout imagery with Stern's next-generation pinball technology.
Choose your adventure from the perspective of Lucy MacLean, The Ghoul, or Maximus, each featuring their own playable side modes and features. Explore the Wasteland, battle enemies, uncover the dark secrets of Vault-Tec, hack computer terminals with your Pip-Boy and level up your character's S.P.E.C.I.A.L. abilities — Strength, Perception, Endurance, Charisma, Intelligence, Agility and Luck.
Interactive Pip-Boy
One of the coolest features on every version of Fallout Pinball, including the Pro, is the fully interactive Pip-Boy playfield LCD, created in collaboration with The Wand Company.
The Pip-Boy displays real-time gameplay information and instructions directly on the playfield, making one of Fallout's most recognizable pieces of technology an interactive part of the game.
Collect Nuka-Cola Bottle Caps
In the Wasteland, bottle caps are money!
Fallout introduces an industry-first Up/Down Vertical Spinning Target, custom molded to look like a genuine Nuka-Cola bottle cap.
Unlike a conventional pinball spinner, the Nuka-Cola target can mechanically move up and down during gameplay, creating a completely new type of pinball shot.
Enter the Vault
Shoot the Vault and uncover the dark secrets of Vault-Tec's social experiments.
The Fallout Pro features a custom-molded Vault Door backpanel bash target, giving Pro players their own way to attack the Vault while battling through the Wasteland.
Battle the Deathclaw!
What's a trip through the Wasteland without a Deathclaw trying to kill you?
Fallout Pro features a sculpted Deathclaw bash toy, bringing one of the franchise's most terrifying creatures onto the playfield.
The "Mutated" Inverted Flipper
Fallout doesn't stop with traditional pinball mechanisms.
The game features three flippers, including a unique "Mutated" Inverted Upper Flipper — a flipper configuration Stern says hasn't been seen in pinball in more than 75 years!
Fallout Pro Playfield Features
The Fallout Pro packs the core Wasteland experience into Stern's most affordable edition, including:
- Fully interactive Pip-Boy playfield LCD
- Industry-first Up/Down Nuka-Cola Bottle Cap Spinner
- Stationary custom-molded Vault Door bash target
- Sculpted Deathclaw Bash Toy
- Left Ramp with secret path past the Vault Door
- Jump Ramp that bashes the Vault Door and feeds the upper-left flipper
- Right Wasteland Ramp
- Sundries Optical Scoop
- 3 Flippers, including the Mutated Inverted Upper Flipper
- Illuminated Pop Bumper
- Full-spectrum RGB LED playfield arrow inserts
- Multifunction Action Button
- Stern Insider Connected™
The official feature matrix identifies these as Pro features while reserving mechanisms such as the interactive Fat Man/V.A.T.S. Shooting Gallery, Magna-Flip Vault lower playfield and functional opening Vault Door for the Premium and LE editions.
Fallout Comes Alive
Fallout Pinball doesn't simply borrow the Fallout name—the game incorporates content from across the franchise.
Players will see video clips from the Fallout television series alongside custom animations created using Bethesda Game Studios models and animations.
The soundtrack goes deep into the video games as well, incorporating original game music and sound effects from:
Fallout 3
Fallout 4
Fallout: New Vegas
Plus, tune into your Pip-Boy radio for iconic pre-war music and more.
Stern also worked directly with Fallout's creators, including executive producer Jonathan Nolan and Bethesda Game Studios director and executive producer Todd Howard, with custom callouts recorded by Johnny Pemberton, who plays Thaddeus in the television series.
Level Up Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L.
Fallout introduces a new progression system through Stern Insider Connected™.
Build your character's:
Strength • Perception • Endurance • Charisma • Intelligence • Agility • Luck
Your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. progression is cumulative and can carry between games through Insider Connected.
Advance every S.P.E.C.I.A.L. attribute to Level 10 and you'll unlock exclusive new modes for each character.
Players can even track the junk they've collected while exploring the Wasteland.
This gives Fallout an RPG-inspired progression system that rewards you for continuing your adventure game after game.
Powered by Stern SPIKE 3
Fallout is powered by Stern's next-generation SPIKE 3 platform and features custom animations on a large 18.5-inch Full HD display.
The Pro Edition also includes:
- Stern Insider Connected™
- Multifunction Action Button
- Snap-Latch front molding
- Powder-coated steel bottom arch
- Black wrinkle-finish handguard side armor, hinges, front lockdown molding and legs
- Stereo sound system with 3-channel amplifier
